Person of Interest’s Sarah Shahi and her Shameless star husband Steve Howey are the proud parents of twins on Sunday, March 1, 2015.

Shahi gave birth to son Knox Blue and daughter Violet Moon at their Los Angeles home. The duo join big brother William Wolf. Shahi and her husband Steve Howey are also parents to 5½-year-old son William Wolf.

“I never thought I would be one of those wacky chicks who say, ‘I loved my labor,’ but I loved every part of it. It was the best day of my life,'” she said.

Sarah Shahi is an American television actress and former NFL Cheerleader. She played Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal in 2011–12.

Sarah Shahi was born on January 10, 1980, in Euless, Texas. She is the daughter of Mah Monir, an interior designer, and Abbas Jahansouz Shahi, who divorced when she was ten. Her father is from Iran, and her mother is from Spain. She has an older brother, Cyrus, and a younger sister, Samantha, who is a production assistant. Shahi adopted Sarah as her name in second grade, after hearing the song “Sarah”, because she was “tormented” by other children. Shahi married actor Steve Howey (American film and television actor) on February 7, 2009, in Las Vegas. On July 8, 2009, Shahi delivered their first child, son William Wolf Howey, during an at-home water birth. In January 2015, Shahi announced that she was pregnant with twins.
