Purva ashadha Nakshatra

 

Poorvashadha nakshatra (13.20-26.40 Sagittarius)is the asterism which supplies us with the energy that is required for survival. It Also known as 'the Invincible Star', or Aparajita meaning who can not be defeated. Its deity is Apah meaning water. Flowing water has lot of energy and can destroy anyone trying to obstruct its way. Poorvashadha Nakshtra represents tusk of an elephant, a hand held fan and winnowing basket. The energy of fan may be used to cut the heat or it may also be used to intensify the fire. Winnowing basket is used to remove husk of the grain. This Nakshtra mixes up two intellectuals Venus & Jupiter. These natives are confident, intelligent unstoppable and undefeatable. Our Vedas mention it be a Nakshtra of war and destruction.
